In 2024 we had the amazing opportunity to supply an "Art Deco Double Basin by Jacob Delafon C.1930" to the previous residence of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, otherwise known as 'Coco' Chanel, the original designer and founder of the fashion brand Chanel.

In 2015 the luxury fashion brand Chanel bought back the lavish Mediterranean villa in order to restore it to its original specification. In charge of the restoration of such a historically valuable villa was architect Peter Marino, studying countless photographs to "Get it right". But when you're restoring a place with such a rich past, how do you capture it's spirit and honour its history; simple, you build a library.

It is the place where Salvador Dalí painted 'The Enigma of Hitler' A haunting landscape featuring a giant telephone receiver that seems to be crying a tear over a cutout picture of the Fuhrer.

As for the bathrooms, the luxurious villa featured an entirely mirrored bathroom which we believe may be the new home to the Art Deco Double basin by Jacob Delefon.
